Side Comment: Although Fitzsimmons is considered “hipster” music, I really despise the whole “hipster” movement. I feel like it’s such a trendy thing and people are just hopping onto the bandwagon because it seems cool. If you weren’t so influenced by the media, or anti-mainstream, would you really turn out to be one? And If one was a true hipster, would one really go out of their way to identify themselves as one? For you wannabes, find your true self and stop identifying with what’s “hipster.” Maybe you are one, then all respect to you, but I’m talking about those people that like things because it seems hipster-y. And majority are since true hipsters are a rare find. I see you posers, stop posing. Please. This is just my opinion. I admit, I like some hipster qualities but that doesn’t make me a hipster. I enjoy indie movies and charming coffee shops, but I still am who I am. I am no better than anyone else and my style/interests are always evolving. I have my own unique preferences.
